Peppermint Ice Cream
1 ½ cups whole milk
1 ½ cups heavy cream heavy cream
2/3 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon, plus 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ teaspoon Kosher salt
1 tablespoon crushed peppermints
Instructions: Whisk together the milk, cream, sugar, vanilla, and salt for 3 minutes or until sugar is dissolved. Stir well before using. Chill to 40 degrees F, then pour 5 oz into the chilled Zoku Ice Cream maker. Stir and scrape frequently. Top with peppermints.
